MAYNARD — Golf Course Task Force votes unanimously for one-year lease extension to allow fact-finding and outreach. The Maynard Golf Course Advisory Task Force, chaired by Natalie Robert, approved the extension in its August 5 meeting to provide additional time for the committee to complete fact-finding and community engagement. The task force also recommended that town negotiators pursue weekend-day use for public outreach as permitted by the lease agreement.
Members are advancing the planning process through a public survey with QR code access, farmers' market outreach, and comparative research on alternative land uses at the site.
