MAYNARD — Golf Course Advisory Task Force reviews significant capital needs estimate. Ben Zauski from Capital Planning Committee presented approximately $1.5 million in required clubhouse repairs for HVAC, roof, and envelope work, potentially rising to $2 million to $3 million with stretch energy code compliance. Members identified discrepancies between various repair estimates and agreed additional research is needed to reconcile costs and clarify contractual obligations with Sterling Management.
The task force also discovered that an Acton parcel taxed at $14,000 annually could be designated as open space to reduce tax liability.
