Maynard CPC reviews $467K in housing and conservation applications. The Community Preservation Committee, led by Chair Rick Lefferts, examined three funding applications: a $400,000 contribution to the Maynard Affordable Housing Trust to fund a spring lottery for rental assistance to six households and support affordable housing at 60 and 80 percent of area median income; a $50,000 Conservation Trust Fund contribution for land acquisition on parcels including 182 Parker Street and properties on Vernon Street, Silver Hill, and Old Marlboro Road; and a $17,000 Regional Housing Services Office membership for housing monitoring and administration. Final recommendations are scheduled for February 25, 2026.
