Maynard Finance Committee unanimously backs five warrant articles for the Special Town Meeting. The Finance Committee voted 6-0 to recommend articles on solid waste rates, cryptocurrency ATMs, historic commission membership, PFAS settlement, and municipal borrowing. Committee Chair Jillian Prendergast outlined strict timelines: Finance Committee comments due September 15, warrant to the printer September 16, and a citizen petition deadline of September 11.
The committee also approved a $205,000 reserve fund allocation for fiscal year 2027.
