Maynard Finance Committee allocates $205,000 for FY27 reserves while holding excess state aid. The committee, chaired by Jillian Prendergast, approved the FY27 reserve fund allocation and began reviewing articles for the upcoming Special Town Meeting, assigning members to draft committee comments on solid waste rate setting, crypto-currency ATMs, the Historical Commission, and radio alarm fees. State aid to the town exceeded original projections, but the surplus will be held for future use rather than incorporated into a budget amendment article at the STM.
