Conservation Commission continues two wetlands project hearings

Maynard Conservation Commission defers two residential development hearings to January 27, 2026. The Commission continued public hearings on the Janceks' proposal to reconstruct an accessory dwelling unit and workshop at 11 Pleasant Street and the Pursuit of Happiness LLC project to convert a single-family home to a three-unit apartment with five rear parking spaces at 14-16 Hillside Street. Conservation Agent Zoe Piel reported that the Pursuit of Happiness applicant is conducting soil testing to complete the stormwater analysis.
Chair Susan Erickson and Piel also discussed potential acquisition of land at 182 Parker Street, with the Community Preservation Committee indicating it could borrow additional funds and the Sudbury Valley Trustees offering support.
