Maynard Tree Committee approves fiscal agent role in multi-year Glenwood Cemetery planting project. Chair Danny Schissler brought the committee to a vote accepting this fiscal responsibility for tree planting at the historically significant cemetery, with Phase 1 planting planned for next year and a Community Preservation Committee grant application due in the fall. The Teaching Allee expansion nears completion with 70 tree tags pending installation, while the committee allocated $2,000 for downtown tree replacement this fall or next spring.
Phase 1 plantings at Coolidge Park are complete; the committee plans perimeter work for later this year.
