Library Board approves trustee handbook updates

Maynard Library Board of Trustees approves handbook changes and reviews library programming. The board voted to approve proposed changes to the trustee handbook following review by the Town Administrator's office, with final approval pending Town Counsel review. Library Director Jean Maguire updated the board on building projects, including a stairwell and window project now expected to wrap in mid-June and eight completed electrical repairs.
The Friends of the Library reported 165,000 dollars in total assets and approved a 6,000 dollar budget for programming support and a Prize Cart for the annual Teen Summer Reading Program.
