Library Board receives second state aid award of $16,770.45

Maynard Library Board of Trustees meets monthly to advance operations and programming. The board approved prior minutes and received notification of a second FY26 State Aid Award of $16,770.45, bringing total state aid to $33,381.30, funds used primarily for collection materials. Jean Maguire, Library Director, reported that a staff field trip to Belmont and Lexington Libraries generated implementation ideas and validated current practices.
The board deferred final approval of the Trustee Handbook to the next meeting pending Town Administrator review and outlined the Library Director's annual performance review process, with completion targeted for the June 23 meeting.
