Committee corrects decades-old wetlands bylaw, approves dog-owner revision

Maynard By-Law Committee approves dog-owner bylaw revision for Town Meeting. Chair William Kohlman led a unanimous 3-0 vote to advance the Chapter 24 Dog Owner's Responsibility bylaw warrant article, following minor adjustments based on Town Counsel feedback. The committee also corrected a 21-year-old error in the Chapter 32 Wetlands Administration bylaw, tracing the error to 2005 when a previous committee updated bylaws following a 2003 Charter change.
The committee reviewed proposed changes to Chapter 1 regarding Town Election and Meeting dates.
