Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 10, 2026

MAYNARD — Conservation Commission approves test well project at Rockland Avenue. Chair Susan Erickson and members M. John Dwyer, Sarah Measures, and Page Czepiga voted unanimously to issue a Negative Determination on a Request for Determination of Applicability, authorizing the Department of Public Works to drill two deep bedrock test wells and conduct 10-to-15-day pump tests within the 50-foot buffer zone of a Bordering Vegetative Wetland.

The project must be completed by June 30, 2026, when a $200,000 state earmark expires. The Commission required that vegetation removal and site stabilization be coordinated with the Conservation Agent.
