Council on Aging reviews new Senior Center plans, lease signed

MAYNARD — Council on Aging moves forward on new Senior Center facility. The board unanimously approved prior minutes at its March 10 meeting and reviewed plans for the facility at 141 Parker Street, where the lease has been signed and the lessor has 270 days to complete renovations. Director Amy Loveless noted the organization has $200,000 in override funding available and has received a $10,000 gift donation.

The new space will include 35 parking spaces and requires volunteer greeters for the reception area. Pickleball classes will continue at the Boys/Girls Club.
