MAYNARD — Select Board approves water rate increases and school bond financing. The board unanimously approved Fiscal Year 2027 water and sewer rates effective July 1, 2026, with Director of Public Works Justin DeMarco explaining that the higher rate option would fund engineering for the Rockland Avenue water supply project as Phase 2 of the Water Master Plan. The Board also authorized $100,000 from water enterprise reserves to continue a filtration rebate pilot program and unanimously approved bond financing for the Green Meadow Elementary School project.

Town Administrator Gregory Johnson reported that certified free cash of roughly $2.1 million was available for consideration, with planned allocations including body cameras for the Police Department, equipment purchases, and school facility improvements.
