Maynard Select Board authorizes $121,200 five-year police body camera contract with net town cost of $51,188.80 after $70,000 state grant. David Gavin chaired; all five board members present. The Board unanimously approved fiscal year 2027 free cash appropriations including $70,000 from the Special Education Stabilization Reserve Fund to settle a disputed Van Pool transportation invoice from fiscal year 2025 and closed two dormant school-project accounts from 2011 and 2012 with residual balances transferred to general fund debt service.
In licensing, the Board canceled the dormant all-alcohol license held by Maynard Liquors at 86 Powder Mill Road, with the license holder's attorney indicating plans to appeal to the Alcoholic Beverages and Control Commission.
