Select Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026
MAYNARD — Select Board unanimously approves $200,000 Verdantas contract for water well exploration. Chaired by David Gavin and including members Mike Stevens, Chris DiSilva, Lindsay McConchie, and Jeffrey Swanberg, the board voted 5-0 to advance the Phase 2 Rockland Avenue Water Treatment Plant capacity plan through required permitting and pump testing, using Representative Kate Hogan's $200,000 earmark, which must be spent by June 30, 2026. A remaining gap of $451,300 is expected to be addressed through enterprise budget proposals and grants.
The board also approved five consent items, including property use permits for maple sugaring and events, and waived liability insurance for both the maple sugaring request and the March 28 No Kings event at Memorial Park.
