MAYNARD — Select Board and Budget Subcommittee approve prior minutes, hear comprehensive fiscal update. Town Administrator Gregory Johnson reviewed FY25 closeout status and FY26 expenditures through December 2025, then presented his FY27 recommendations submitted January 21. Major proposals include a new Solid Waste and Recycling Enterprise budget with July 1, 2026 bill collection start, a full time Town Engineer position, use of Ambulance Receipts for public safety equipment, health insurance premium increases, Free Cash allocation, and funding the next water supply and treatment master plan phase through a Debt Exclusion.
The committee approved prior meeting minutes unanimously and scheduled the next Budget Sub Committee meeting for March 11, 2026.
