Maynard Roadway Safety Task Force continues crash data reconciliation work. Chair Mario Damiata oversaw adoption of prior minutes and updates on a 2023 discrepancy between 111 crashes reported to the state and 150 in Maynard Police Department records; the Task Force is coordinating with police to reconcile the gap and exploring crash diagramming software. Intersection audit observations near completion for Parker, Waltham, and Powdermill Road, with Walnut and Main added for summer pedestrian analysis.
Members discussed formalizing a process for tracking citizen roadway concerns via the Boston MPO Vision Zero feedback app in coordination with town Department of Public Works.
