Retirement Board approves COLA increase, interviews three investment firms.

Maynard Retirement Board grants 3 percent cost-of-living adjustment effective July 1, 2026. Chair Patrick Hakey and the full board voted unanimously to authorize the COLA increase under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 32, Section 103(c). The board also interviewed three investment consultant candidates, Dahab Associates, Fiducient Advisors, and CAPTRUST, collecting presentations and pricing information; a decision is set for the April 30 meeting.
The board unanimously accepted four new members to the retirement system and approved payroll, deductions, and cash disbursement warrants totaling $616,406.75 for March 31, 2026, along with a transfer of $362,400 from PRIT cash to the checking account.
