Planning Board approves Eversource transformer replacement excavation permit.

MAYNARD — Planning Board approves Eversource substation excavation permit at 10 Sudbury Road. The board unanimously approved a special permit allowing the removal of approximately 1,200 cubic yards of soil for a transformer replacement project running from May 2027 through December 2028. Work will occur between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Monday through Friday, with heavy trucks restricted to Powder Mill Road, Parker Street, and Route 117. Vice Chair Natalie Robert presided; Bill Cranshaw moved approval, seconded by Jeff Black, with all five board members voting yes.
