Planning Board approves $25,000 bond release; advances medical marijuana zoning amendment.

MAYNARD — Planning Board unanimously approves $25,000 cell tower bond release and medical marijuana zoning amendment. Chair Christopher Arsenault and the board voted 4-0 to release the performance bond plus accrued interest for a decommissioned T-Mobile tower at 146 Main Street. The board also voted 4-0 to sponsor a zoning bylaw amendment allowing Registered Marijuana Dispensaries in the Central Business District under Planning Board Special Permit, aligning medical marijuana regulations with the existing recreational marijuana framework.

The amendment will be recommended for approval at Spring 2026 Town Meeting.
