MAYNARD — Select Board unanimously approves Senior Center lease and opioid settlement distribution. The board approved a 15-year lease with The Lexvest Group for 141 Parker Street as the town's new Senior Center and adopted a distribution framework for $137,631.14 in opioid settlement funds received to date, allocating 75 percent ($103,223.36) for discretionary use by police, fire, and health departments and 25 percent ($34,407.78) for community applicants approved by the board. The board also unanimously approved $15,900 in opioid funds for the Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley's SMART Moves prevention program, and unanimously approved contracts including a $195,000 stairwell repair project at Maynard Public Library and an on-call design services agreement with MVG Architects.
