Maynard Library Board approves FY2027 budget without modification, advances building projects. Library Director Jean Maguire reported that the FY2027 budget request has been included without modification in the Town Administrator's recommendation to the Select Board. The board awarded the stairwell and window project contract to GVW, Inc., contingent on Select Board approval February 3.
The board discussed potential accessibility improvements for deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons, including a loop system for compatible hearing devices. Programming policy and trustee handbook revisions are in development.
