Historical Commission plans Clock Tower repair, Field House restoration

MAYNARD — The Maynard Historical Commission advanced preservation planning for two major historic structures. Chair Priscilla Sandberg and member Ellen Duggan are coordinating Clock Tower repair and repainting with Mill management and the town, planning to seek Community Preservation Committee funding for the town's portion in 2027. Sandberg is also organizing with the Maynard Boosters Club on Alumni Field House exterior restoration, with contractor Eric Sosa providing an estimate for potential CPC funding.

The commission unanimously approved the previous month's minutes and continues advancing concurrent projects including Powder Mill and Indigenous Peoples historic signs.
