Historical Commission commits to Green Meadow School artifact preservation

MAYNARD — Historical Commission plans historic-marker expansion and Green Meadow School artifact preservation at January meeting. The nine-member commission discussed an open house and auction for Green Meadow artifacts, to be preserved and moved to the new school or donated to the Maynard Historical Society. Ellen Duggan will also draft a request for a plaque for an Ammo Dump building.

The group approved resuming its plan to offer historic markers to repurposed schools and churches across town.
