Maynard Finance Committee plans May Annual Town Meeting while reviewing water and sewer enterprise fund strategies. Director of Public Works Justin DeMarco presented the water and sewer enterprise funds' approach to keeping annual rate increases under 10 percent while serving approximately 4,400 customers.

Chair Jillian Prendergast reported that Power Choice program participants save 1 to 2 cents per kilowatt-hour compared to standard rates, and noted the FY27 budget now includes school funding with no anticipated increase in state revenues.
