Finance Committee recommends 11 Annual Town Meeting articles

Maynard Finance Committee votes to recommend 11 of 19 Annual Town Meeting articles. Chair Jillian Prendergast's committee voted 7-0 to recommend Articles 1, 2, 5, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19 for town meeting approval and voted 7-0 against Article 6 on the Retirement Board Stipend. The committee deferred further action on eight budget-related articles, citing incomplete FY27 numbers.
The Water Enterprise Fund budget for FY27 declined from FY26 levels, while the Community Preservation Fund articles included increased appropriations to the Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
