Finance Committee finalizes recommendations on 13 Annual Town Meeting articles

MAYNARD — The Maynard Finance Committee finalized recommendations on 13 warrant articles heading to the May 18 town meeting. Vice Chair Katie Moore presided with six members present, reviewing the FY2027 general fund and enterprise fund budgets, as well as articles addressing free cash appropriation, sewer transfers, borrowing authorization, and citizen petitions on outdoor lighting and tax-title agreements. The committee approved a $225,000 reserve fund allocation for FY26 and scheduled a public hearing for May 11 to discuss an amended Article 31 before town meeting.
