Council on Aging discusses new Senior Center relocation plans

MAYNARD — Council on Aging plots new Senior Center relocation strategy. The board met Tuesday and unanimously approved prior minutes, with Director Amy Loveless reporting strong volunteer response for games and art instruction at the new facility. Members discussed a possible fall soft opening with incomplete furnishings and explored outreach strategies to engage residents.
The center will maintain current 9 AM to 3 PM hours with ongoing library collaboration. Board Chair Peg Brown is coordinating with W.B. Mason on furnishings and design for the relocated center.
