Council on Aging approves revised bylaws and governance changes

Maynard Council on Aging updates governance ahead of Senior Center expansion. The seven-member board unanimously approved revised Article IV bylaws addressing member vacancies at its February 10 meeting. Director Amy Loveless reported that the Select Board approved a 15-year Senior Center lease on February 3, pending signatures from Lexvest.
Starting in April, a Tai Chi for Fall Prevention program will be facilitated by Minuteman Senior Services, an Area Services for Aging Populations organization. The Council introduced the POV framework (Procedures, Outreach, Volunteers) to guide planning as programs and volunteer coordination expand.
