MAYNARD — Capital Planning Committee heard energy efficiency briefing from Municipal Energy Manager Rebecca Ansolabehere. The town has applied for three grants totaling $3.525 million for Town Hall and Fowler Middle School heat pump projects as part of a long-term electrification strategy; schools account for three of the town's highest energy users. Ansolabehere noted no municipal buildings currently meet state Stretch Code standards and will be required to comply with new energy codes during major upgrades.

The committee unanimously approved June meeting minutes and set the next meeting for September 29, 2026.
