Board Designates Public Health Director as Regional Committee Representative

Maynard Board of Health names Casey Mellin to regional committee post. The Board voted unanimously February 24 to designate Public Health Director Mellin as the town's representative to the Central Massachusetts Municipal Health and Regional Collaborative advisory committee. Newly hired Solid Waste Management Coordinator Linde Ghere outlined a new trash and recycling program replacing bag stickers with quarterly billing; an RFP is expected by March 4.
Public Health Nurse Katie Stanislawzyk reported one enterovirus, 11 flu cases, one COVID-19 case, and one active TB case under monitoring.
