Maynard ADA Commission approves prior minutes, tracks four pending state accessibility complaints. Chair Elijah Tucker reported that Requipment, the state's sole durable medical equipment refurbisher, will lose 36 percent of its funding next year due to eliminated government support. Three of four pending state dockets--Fowler School, 9 Mill & Main, and Nason Street Parking Lot--have approved stipulation orders awaiting implementation; Summer Street Parking Lot was completed.
Member Denise Shea raised concerns about delayed crosswalk curb cut cleanup and excessive snow in handicapped parking spaces, requesting that the Department of Public Works attend a late-fall meeting to address the issues.
